If you start with the network, often each individual component needs to be configured manually. After all, there is no server yet where an automation program can run. If you begin with a server, it lacks network access and a connection to the internet to reach other devices like switches or routers.
That’s why we’ve built an Apstra Appliance. It’s like a “Fabric in a Box” and provides all the features of our Hosted Apstra.
But what is Apstra, exactly?
Apstra is the network software for Data Centers from Juniper Networks. As an intent-based automation software with multi-vendor support, it covers the entire network lifecycle from Day 0 to Day 2+. It acts as a Single Source of Truth and ensures a secure and efficient network.
To provide a wide range of connectivity options for various network topologies, our Appliance comes with 2x 10GBASE-T, 4x 1GBASE-T, and 4x 10GBASE-X. It also includes a management interface to boot additional virtual machines that make sense in this context, such as SIEM Collector, in the future.
We offer Apstra in the hosted version as Software as a Service, as an Appliance, or for operation on your own virtualization platform by default.
Of course, we’ll work with you to determine your specific needs and are happy to demonstrate in a Proof of Concept what Apstra can do and how quickly and smoothly a new data center can be planned and built with it.
