The LoRaWAN (long range wide area network) enables a radio network in Dortmund and its surrounding area of approx. 20 km.In this way, up to several 100 sensors can be managed within one network and their data processed. There is, for example, a platform for tracking cars, street lights, parking sensors and remote-controlled real-time monitoring.
