“Phoenix des Lumières presents monumental, immersive digital exhibitions dedicated to the great artists of art history and contemporary art.
In the former blast furnace facility at Dortmund-Phoenix-West, history and culture blend into a unique experience. Since 2022, the management of the venue has been in the hands of the art organization Culturespaces. We provide the fiber optic connection and manage the network using a total of 9 Juniper switches. If there’s an issue, we resolve it before anyone on-site even notices the disruption.
But why so many switches? Across an area of 3000m², a vast number of end devices are accommodated. These naturally include PCs, access points, cameras, visitor counters, and the cash registers at the entrance as well as in the souvenir shop.
For optimal stability, we rely on Snom phones and online telephony from Placetel. Additionally, with the expertise of the Berge Funk specialists, we’ve set up a fully digital radio network using Motorola hardware.
