From june 7th to june 11th the Deutscher Evangelischer Kirchentag took place in Nuremberg. The 5-day event now offers countless digital offers and a hybrid program. We were there personally to ensure everything runs smoothly. From the end of May we set up a city-wide, high-performance DMR radio network in cooperation with our long-standing partners Berge Funk, ETA ELECTRONIC and Seltronik.
With their know-how in the field of metro networks, our technicians were involved in the planning and operation of a redundant IP network based on microwave links, fiber optics and the Deutsche Telekom 5G network. We have relied on quality products from Juniper, Motorola and Teltonika. With these partners, we have again exceeded the requirement for a crisis-proof communication network.
In total, the network served around 4000 crew members, ensured the coordination of an event with 130,000 participants and thus ensured a successful 38th Deutscher Evangelischer Kirchentag.
